Step 1: Gather the Necessary Tools and Materials

Before you begin cleaning, gather the following tools and materials:

A broom or brush with stiff bristles or leaf blower
A pressure washer (optional, but highly recommended)

Step 2: Clear the Driveway

Remove anything in your driveway such as vehicles, toys, or potted plants. This will give you a clear working space and prevent any damage to your belongings during the cleaning process.

Step 3: Sweep the Surface

Don your safety goggles to protect your eyes from flying dust and dirt particles. (Don’t you look beguiling.) Start by sweeping the entire driveway using a broom or brush with stiff bristles or leaf blower. This will remove loose debris, leaves, and dirt from the surface.

Use a scrub brush to agitate the stain and break it down before rinsing it off.

Step 5: Use a Pressure Washer

If you have access to a pressure washer, it will make the cleaning process much easier and efficient. Feel the powa! Attach the appropriate nozzle to the pressure washer and adjust the pressure setting according to the type of surface you’re cleaning. Begin by spraying water evenly across the driveway to moisten the entire surface.

Step 6: Apply Soapy Water

Fill your bucket with a 10:1 solution of Pro-Tek™ by mixing a gallon of water with 14 oz of Pro-Tek™. Apply the cleaning solution evenly over the driveway. Allow it to penetrate the surface for a few minutes, but avoid letting it dry. This will help to loosen dirt and grime.

Step 7: Scrub the Surface

Using a scrub brush or a deck brush, work the cleaning solution into the driveway surface. Scrub in a back-and-forth motion to ensure thorough cleaning.

Step 8: Rinse Thoroughly

Using a pressure washer or a garden hose, rinse the driveway thoroughly. Start from the top and work your way down, ensuring that all the cleaning solution and debris are washed away. Step 9: Allow the Driveway to Dry
